Product Exchange Policy

Effective from: 01/01/2018.

Location for exchanges: Sevit Special Steel.

1. Applicable Products for Exchange

- Products with manufacturing defects, including: Products with air bubbles, chemical composition not in accordance with the published standards.

- Products unsuitable for the Buyer’s needs due to Seller’s errors, including: Incorrect cutting based on the ordered specifications, heat treatment not as per the Buyer’s requirements.

2. Non-Applicable Products for Exchange

- Products that cannot be used due to the Buyer’s error, including but not limited to: Incorrect specifications ordered, failure to follow the manufacturer’s or supplier’s instructions or recommendations.

- Products that have been processed or heat-treated (except for cases where the product has a manufacturing defect).

- Products missing delivery receipt, stock release slip, VAT invoice, and other accompanying documents when delivered.

- Products delivered to the Buyer more than 5 days after the delivery date.

3. Conditions for Return or Exchange

- The product must remain in its original condition, unused, and unprocessed (except for cases of manufacturing defects).

- The product must include the delivery receipt, stock release slip, VAT invoice, and other accompanying documents.

- If the product is faulty due to incorrect specifications or improper heat treatment, both parties will review the order details to identify the cause of the defect. The Buyer is entitled to exchange the product if the fault is on the Seller's part.

- In cases of defects that cannot be detected by visual inspection, such as air bubbles or incorrect chemical composition, both parties will agree on a testing unit. The Seller will assist the Buyer in contacting the manufacturer for an exchange.

4. Product Exchange Policy

- The Seller will exchange the product for the Buyer in cases specified in Section 1 of this policy.

- The Seller will proceed with the exchange within 5 days from the date the defect is confirmed by both parties and the product is returned to the Seller.

- In cases of improper heat treatment, the Seller will reprocess the product at no additional charge.
